
Jean-François Mainguet
Jean-François Mainguet is currently researcher at the CEA-Léti, a large R&D laboratory located in
Grenoble, France.
Mr. Mainguet is the inventor of the sweeping technique for direct silicon fingerprint scanning used in the FingerChip® project when he was Biometrics Chief Scientist of Atmel's biometrics business unit.
Since joining Thomson-CSF Semiconducteurs Spécifiques (TCS) in 1984, he has been engaged in the development of SOS and SOI rad-hard semiconductor devices, electrical simulation, layout & mask design tools, and analog to digital converter design. TCS became Atmel-Grenoble in 2000.
Mr. Mainguet became an engineer for Télécommunications de Bretagne in 1984.
